Vitalograph at the forefront of the fight against COPD

Death rates from respiratory disease in Ireland are higher than those from heart disease and are the second highest in Europe and Asia, exceeded only by Kyrgyzstan.

Around 27,000 people in Ireland are being treated for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD but the Northern Ireland Chest, Heart & Stroke Association (NICHSA) believes thousands more have the condition but have not been diagnosed.

The financial burden to the Irish health service is currently over €437m a year. Vitalograph is committed to delivering innovative respiratory solutions that support the efforts of medical and government officials in their endeavours to protect quality of life, cut hospital admissions and reduce NHS bills through the early diagnosis and correct management of COPD.
